WATCH: Singapore supplement CEO on the three biggest APAC growth sectors

Beauty from within, sports nutrition and healthy ageing are driving the supplements business in APAC, according to the CEO of Singapore firm Avida Health.

Established in Singapore a decade ago, Avida provides turn-key solutions from conception to launch for a range of brands, and has expanded into Japan, China, the UK, Europe and the US.

Speaking to us at VitaFoods Asia, CEO Jeff Jiang discusses how the company partners with beauty salons in the region to better understand the beauty-from-within segment.

He also elaborates on the latest sports nutrition trends he is seeing in APAC, and explains the importance of products to fight metabolic syndrome and diabetes, which are common among the elderly in the region.

The company has over 50% of its business in Europe and about 25% in the US, with the rest in APAC.
