More details have been announced about the first ever Vitafoods Asia event to be held in Singapore this September, which will feature more than 200 exhibitors.

The event’s four key focuses are on ingredients and raw materials, contract manufacturing and private labels, services and equipment, and branded finished products, with the latter in particular having seen consistent yearly growth.

This year, a total of 34 brands will showcase their retail-ready functional foods and beverages, as well as dietary supplements.

As in previous years, the event will have an Inspiration Showcase and Tasting Bar for new and featured products, such as energy drinks, meal replacement bars, chewable supplements, and collagen jellies.

This year’s Vitafoods Asia will also feature a raft of educational sessions. The Life Stages Theatre, Market Trends & Consumer Insights, and Regulation & Ingredient Registration masterclasses will take place alongside the main event conference.

NutraIngredients-Asia’s editor-in-chief, Gary Scattergood, will also be hosting sessions at the conference and innovation theatre.

Vitafoods Asia 2017 will take place on 5 and 6 September at the Sands Expo and Convention Centre at Marina Bay Sands.
