Herbalife adds Thai sports expert to Nutrition Advisory Board
Herbalife's chief health and nutrition officer, Dr John Agwunobi, said, "We are delighted to appoint Dr Panich to our Herbalife Nutrition Advisory Board. As a highly respected sports doctor, educator, and a healthy active lifestyle advocate, Dr Panich is a valuable addition to our team of experts in nutrition, science and health.
"We look forward to working with him to inspire positive nutrition and healthy active living habits to a wider audience in Thailand and beyond."
At the moment, Panich is assistant dean at Mahidol University's College of Sports Science and Technology in Thailand. He is also a consulting physician for the Sports Authority of Thailand, and has 15 years' experience as an orthopaedic specialist.
Previously, he was team doctor for the Thai national teams at international sporting events, including the 2010 Youth Olympic Games, and the Southeast Asia Games in 2011, 2013 and 2017.
The Herbalife board consists of health, nutrition and science experts who help to educate and train the company's independent members, and it believes Panich's appointment will help the company to continue this practice.
