BY-HEALTH sees huge opportunities in the beauty-from-within supplement category and the wider female consumer market – two categories it will focus on as it expands its presence in Asia-Pacific.
The Shenzhen Stock Exchange listed company currently has both online and offline retail presence in Australia and New Zealand since 2019. Last year, it also expanded into Hong Kong.
According to Jesse Gu, head of sales and marketing – BY-HEALTH International at BY-HEALTH Co. Ltd, the company’s women’s health products such as Cartidyss Collagen Gummies and Flashnutri Iron Sachet have been its bestsellers in these markets. The company's flagship brand is known as BYHEALTH.
Probiotics and CBD focus: HempFusion Wellness gears up for China and Middle East expansion
US-based health and wellness supplement company HempFusion Wellness is gearing up international expansion with plans to introduce more probiotics and CBD products in China and the Middle East.
The company owns HempFusion, the CBD brand selling hemp-based cannabidiol tinctures, capsules, topical creams and gel products, as well as the Probulin brand which sells probiotic enzymes, digestive capsules, and topical products.
Probulin first entered China through cross-border marketplace Tmall Global in March 2021, with six SKUs, targeting women, colon, immune, gut, children health (digestion).
Beyond beauty: Nestlé Health Science China to launch Vital Proteins’ immune and lifestyle range via CBEC
Nestlé Health Science China has opened a flagship store on Tmall for Vital Proteins, its peptide collagen brand from the US, and aims to educate the Chinese consumers that collagen supplements are not only for skin beauty, but beneficial for immune, joint health, and sports performance as well.
Nestlé Health Science acquired Vital Proteins last year and the brand was introduced to China during the Hainan Expo held between May 7 and 10.
Vital Proteins specialises in collagen supplements for a variety of benefits, including supporting hair, skin, nails, bones, joints health, and workout recovery. Its products come in various formats, such as powder, shots, bars, and capsules.
Tipco Foods CEO interview part II: Juice company diversifying into herbal supplements, plant-based protein amid shrinking fruit juice market
Thailand’s Tipco Foods is diversifying into the herbal dietary supplements and plant-based protein, as it seeks new growth engines amid a shrinking fruit juice market in the domestic market, its CEO told us.
The company already has an herbal extract business arm known as Tipco Biotech. One of its specialty extracts is high grade curcuminoids.
“Because of our experience in the extraction business of active ingredients of herbs, we will also go into the herbs [supplement] business,” CEO Yongsit Rojsrikul said.
