From infant nutrition to healthy ageing, and active nutrition to healthier innovation, senior leaders are sharing their insights and expertise on Asia’s biggest nutra, food and beverage opportunities.

They’ll be taking to the stage at our Growth Asia Summit, which takes place this July on 15th to 17th at the iconic Marina Bay Sands hotel and convention centre.

Delegate sales are now open. There are discounts available for start-ups, academics and group bookings.

Infant and maternal health, active lifestyle nutrition, healthy ageing, and healthier production innovation are some of the key topics to be discussed at the summit.

As with past years, the fifth edition of the summit gathers seniors execs from MNCs, leading regional firms, and promising start-ups, where they would present business learnings and R&D opportunities across Asia-Pacific’s health and nutrition sector.

Nestle’s head of applied nutrition Dr. Nashmil Emami, for example, will be presenting on healthier product innovation.

Titled “Balanced Diet Across the Life Stages: The Importance of Nutrient Density in Product Development”, the presentation will shed light on how nutritional needs could evolve across life stages and how food science can support these needs through fortification, enrichment, and reformulation.

For healthy ageing, Blackmores’ head of product development Madeleine Ong, who is in charge of the practitioner-only brand BioCeuticals, and global marketing lead (women’s health and beauty) Meiyi Lin will present the company’s innovation pipeline in addressing conditions like stress, osteoarthritis, diabetes and more.

Closely related to the topic of healthy ageing is longevity and global food and beverage giant PepsiCo will discuss new findings on oats consumption and its effects on biological age.

Kit Phanvijhitsiri, R&D life sciences manager from PepsiCo Services Asia will be presenting the topic “Whole grain oats reduce chronic inflammation to lower biological age”.

He will explain key findings from a recent study that explored the effects of oat consumption on age-related chronic inflammation (SCI) and cardiovascular disease (CVD) risk.

H&H Group, parent company of Swisse, on the other hand, will cover the latest scientific evidence behind nootropics and cognitive health.

Scientific affairs manager Dr Novita Puspasari will be giving a talk titled “Nootropics and Brain Nutrition – Evidence-Based Formulation and Communication of Cognitive Benefits.”

With social commerce permeating into everyday lives, TikTok’s head of growth partnerships Teresa Widodo will be revealing the latest trends shaping beverage and nutraceutical contents on the platform.

She will also be giving a marketing masterclass through successful case studies on how brands are using the platform to drive engagement and sales.
