New breakfast omega-3 spread: Australia
Australian company Nature’s Blend has launched a new omega-3 breakfast spread, targeted at children.
The yeast spread Omegamite, has been developed and made in Australia and contains omega-3 (DHA and EPA) fish oils.
The company said that it is a tasty way for children to consumer omega-3s at breakfast; a nutrient that helps promote heart and eye health as well as brain development, particularly in younger people, according to a growing body of clinical research.
This product is an addition to the company’s omega-3 range of functional foods including OmegaHoney, OmegaMayo and OmegaMilk.
