Two job role changes have been announced at Natural Products NZ (NPNZ), the industry body representing the country’s natural products, functional foods, complementary medicines, and nutraceuticals industries.

From 1 April, NPNZ’s business manager Kerry Warn will take on the role of general manager and will be responsible for managing the organisation’s day-to-day operations and member support activities, including the annual Summit and NPNZ Suppliers Day.

She will report directly to the board. Meanwhile, Alison Quesnel, the current executive director, will focus on managing NPNZ’s public affairs and government relations activities, as corporate affairs director.

Warn has worked with NPNZ since 2013 and, over the past year, has been taking on more responsibility as Quesnel began focussing solely on regulatory and public relations matters.

NPNZ Chairman Ron Geiger said she had done an outstanding job of growing NPNZ and advancing its interests during the past four years.

“The board appreciates Alison’s ongoing involvement with NPNZ and her wealth of industry knowledge and we are pleased to have her continue working with us on vital industry issues.  We have also been impressed with Kerry’s input since she joined the organisation and we are looking forward to working more closely with her.”
