Singapore personalised nutrition firm Imagene Labs has sealed a deal with an Australian e-commerce venture, as it makes its first move into the country.

InnerOrigin is an online hub that sells a range of health and wellness products. It will now also stock Imagene Lab's proprietary DNA wellness kits.

The firm's products include tailor-made nutrition and fitness supplement regimes based on findings from customers' saliva DNA tests. It also offers a skincare package.

Each user is provided with a personalised report featuring customised lifestyle, dietary and fitness recommendations, based on the individual's kit results.

Brand ambassador

Dr Mun Yew Wong, Imagene Labs' managing director, said InnerOrigin's focused and strategic community-based approach makes it a strong partner to introduce DNA kits into the Australia and New Zealand wellness market.

The brand boasts several influential ambassadors, including surfer Layne Beachley, musician Kirk Pengilly, and swimmer Stephanie Rice.

Imagene Labs has expanded rapidly over the last 18 months, since its launch in Singapore. It is now also present in Malaysia, Thailand, China, Hong Kong and Indonesia.

In October, we revealed how the firm was enjoying sales success through B2B partnerships, by cooperating with wellness centres, gyms and fitness facilities, beauty and spa operations, aesthetic centres, private hospitals, and insurance firms.
