NutraIngredients- Asia Editor-in-Chief Gary Scattergood said: “Huge congratulations to the companies that made the shortlist and of course to our winners.

“This year we received a record number of entries, and the quality and standard of the ingredients, finished products and initiatives was higher than ever. This clearly shows the industry has continued to thrive, despite the ongoing logistical, research and innovation challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

“These hurdles continue to be overcome, in order to meet the surging consumer demand for supplements, nutritional products and functional foods and beverages across Asia Pacific.

“And all the evidence suggest that this demand is only going to grow, as consumers increasingly seek to take greater control over their health and wellness.

“I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank the dedication and professionalism of our independent and expert judging panel, which reviewed the entries in great detail.

“It is never easy to select the shortlist, let alone the winner, and inevitably there are many great products, ingredients and initiatives that didn’t quite make the cut.

“I’d like to thank everyone who entered and, once again, congratulations to all our finalists and winners."
