E-commerce company Limitless Technology has expanded the product range for its women’s supplement brand LYLA, with new items targeting stress relief and skin health.

Headquartered in Malaysia, Limitless Technology has launched several e-commerce businesses in South East Asia such as CakeRush, Flower Chimp and Bloomeroo which are cake and flower delivery companies.

LYLA was set up last year, after recognising a demand for women’s supplements that complemented their busy lifestyles. LYLA manufactures and markets dietary supplements targeted at specific health concerns of women.

It initially launched with the first product, an immunity supplement, and recently released another two supplements for skin health and stress relief.

LYLA works with Nutri Action Sdn Bhd, a manufacturer of supplements and functional foods in Malaysia with an in-house R&D team to develop its products.

The supplements are formulated with trademarked functional ingredients such as Fytexia’s Oxxynea (polyphenolic extracts) and Eggnovo’s Ovoderm (egg shell membrane).

For instance, the immunity supplement contains Oxxynea and probiotic BB12 to help maintain a healthy immune system, improve energy and gut health.

This product was launched amid the COVID-19 pandemic last year, as sales of immunity products soared across the world.

New kids on the block

The skin health supplement was developed to meet growing demand for beauty-from-within products.

We realised in the last couple years, there has been an uptake in the beauty regime, and complementing that, people are exploring into supplements and what they can feed their body to look good,” said Elena Harith, head of brand at Limitless Technology.

So LYLA developed a supplement for maintaining healthy hair, nail and skin. The product contains marine peptide collagen and Ovoderm to improve skin elasticity and hydration, as well as enhance glow.

The latest addition to the brand is an anti-stress supplement for calmer and more productive days especially in today’s busy lifestyles.

The supplement is formulated with Ashwagandha, Lactium and Suntheanine L-Theanine to reduce stress, help with sleep and relaxation and improves mental clarity.

According to Harith, all three supplements can be taken together daily. For instance, the immunity supplement is taken in the morning, followed by the beauty supplement at midday, and lastly the stress relief supplement at night.

Export and marketing

The supplements come in powdered sachets, and it is recommended to mix in cool or warm water for convenient consumption.

They are manufactured in Malaysia and sold on LYLA’s online store, focusing on its e-commerce branding.

It currently ships to Malaysia, Indonesia, Hong Kong, the Philippines and Singapore, and hopes to expand globally in the future.

We have pretty much covered the South East Asia region and are now figuring out our approach for global expansion,” Harith said.

We are also gearing up marketing this year with our three supplements.”

LYLA works with influencers and celebrities such as singers and models Hunny Madu and Weena Marcus to market its products.
